Consuming Fire by Scott Hunsley

Acts 2--It's time that we get on fire for God. We need to as Christians stop playing games and get real with God. When wild fires burn they just don't burn a little while, and they definitely don't just singe the trees. Wild fires consume houses, trees, and anything in their path. God wants that same type of fire to live in you and me. He wants that same type of fire to consume. Why are we as Christians and the church so dead today? The answer is that people have forgotten who we truly serve. We have forgotten what Christ went through for us. We have forgotten the pain, the agony, and the blood that was shed for us. The fire is not burning like it should. Today we hear a lot of talk about how wicked the world has become, but when was the last time we stood up for what we believed was right. When was the last time we walked across the street and invited our neighbors to church. Where is that all consuming passion/fire for God. Where is that passion when we realize that our friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family are lost and going to hell. If you are not going to be %100 sold out for Christ then He isn't going to use you like he wants to. Do you want this all consuming fire? If so then we have to be a willing vessel?
